Works 2000–2022 The large-scale monograph MS 00 22 presents the most important works from Sailstorfer's entire oeuvre. Formally diverse texts and conversations with the artist provide a profound insight into his working methods. Michael Sailstorfer studied with Olaf Metzel at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts from 1999 to 2005 and at Goldsmiths College in London in 2004/05. He has been awarded the Kunstpreis Junger Westen (2011) and the Vattenfall Contemporary (2012), among others. He has had solo exhibitions at the Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt (2007), the Kestnergesellschaft Hannover (2010), the Kunsthalle Nürnberg (2011), and the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati, Ohio (2014), among others.
